2. Scope and purpose
This policy applies to visits to this informational website. We provide information about our services, preparation, team, contact details and referral options. The forms are intended for general enquiries and event registrations. They are not intended for patient or health data. Please do not send medical information through general website functions or ordinary email.
3. Registration for the anniversary reception for referring clinicians
When you submit the registration form, we process your first and last name, email address, practice or institution, and the number of attendees you specify to organise the anniversary reception for referring clinicians. Your details are encrypted and sent directly from your browser to our Swiss registration service at anmeldung.radiologie-oensingen.ch over an encrypted connection. This service runs on Swiss infrastructure provided by Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, and generates an email to radiologie.oensingen@hin.ch. Your email application is not opened.
The hosting service for the information website does not receive the form contents. The registration service does not create its own registration database. The generated message is processed in our HIN mailbox as part of event organisation and the applicable retention processes. Hostpoint and HIN may process technical log data for a limited period for delivery, error analysis and abuse prevention. Please do not enter any medical information in the form.
4. Hosting and access statistics
This website is provided by an external hosting service. IP addresses, access times, pages visited, browser and device details, and security events are processed for content delivery, stability, error analysis and abuse prevention. Page views and unique visitors are combined into aggregate traffic statistics.
The hosting provider is based in Ireland and uses additional infrastructure and security service providers. Technical access data may also be processed in the United States and other countries outside Switzerland. Fixed data residency is not guaranteed. The hosting agreement provides for adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses for international transfers. Further information about recipients, processing countries and safeguards is available from the controller listed in section 1. Retention periods depend on the processing purpose, contractual terms and legal obligations.
5. Contact form, telephone and HIN email
We process the name, email address, subject and message submitted through the contact form to respond to general enquiries. The contents are sent directly to the Swiss service hosted by Hostpoint described in section 3 and forwarded to our HIN inbox. The hosting service for the information website does not receive the form contents. The form service does not maintain its own message database. Messages are retained in the practice inbox only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and comply with legal obligations. When the form is opened, the availability of the sending service is checked; this generates technical access data. Please do not enter any medical information.
For general enquiries, you can contact us by telephone or email. Confidential medical information should only be sent through a verified HIN channel or an individually agreed secure route. An ordinary email to a HIN address is not automatically protected by end-to-end encryption.
6. Google Maps
The satellite map on the homepage loads automatically, without further activation. To reduce loading time, the browser may defer loading until the map is near the visible area (lazy loading). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. As soon as the map loads, technical access data, in particular your IP address and browser information, are sent to Google. Google may also process these data outside Switzerland. An external directions link is also available. Further information can be found in the Google privacy policy.
6a. MRI video via Vimeo
Starting the video loads Vimeo. Your IP address and browser information are then transmitted to Vimeo and may also be processed outside Switzerland. Vimeo Privacy Policy
7. Cookies, analytics and marketing
We do not use any analytics, advertising or marketing services of our own on this website. The technical traffic statistics described in section 4 are part of the hosting service. The Google Maps map loads automatically as described in section 6. The form service is contacted when the contact form is opened to check its availability and when a form is submitted. Opening an external link establishes a connection to the respective provider.
8. Recipients and processing abroad
Data may be transmitted to the technical service providers described above and, for contact enquiries and apéritif registrations, to Hostpoint and HIN, insofar as this is necessary for the respective function. These providers may use additional data processors. Where data is processed in countries without an adequate level of data protection, the safeguards required by law, in particular recognised standard contractual clauses, are used unless a statutory exception applies.
9. Data security and retention
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission, access restrictions and browser security policies. Technical data are processed only for as long as necessary for operation, security, error analysis or legal obligations. Medical records are not maintained through this website.
10. Rights of data subjects
Under applicable data protection law, you may in particular request access, correction, provision or transfer of your data and, where no legal obligations prevent it, erasure or restriction of processing. Appropriate information may be requested to verify your identity. Please direct data protection enquiries to the controller listed in section 1.
11. Changes
We update this policy when the website, service providers or legal requirements change.
