Which MRI scanner is used?
We use a Siemens MAGNETOM Sola with a 1.5 tesla magnetic field and a 70 cm opening. MRI does not use X-rays.
What if I have claustrophobia or an implant?
Please tell us when arranging your appointment. Bring any implant or device identification cards so that suitability for the examination can be checked in advance.
How long does an MRI take, and will I need contrast?
The duration and use of contrast depend on the body region and clinical question. Our team explains the arrangements for your particular examination when planning your appointment.
